I. PRIVACY POLICY
LineLee VPN is built upon the principle of absolute digital invisibility. We believe that a VPN should be a transparent shield, not a data harvester.
The Architecture of Anonymity
Our service is engineered to ensure that your private activity remains private.
Local Processing: All encryption handshakes and tunneling protocols are executed locally on your device.
Zero-Log Guarantee: We do not track, collect, or store any information regarding your browsing history, traffic destination, data content, or DNS queries.
Session Volatility: We do not maintain logs of your source IP address or connection timestamps. Your digital footprint exists only in the temporary memory of your device during an active session and is purged immediately upon disconnection.
Technical Telemetry & Third-Party Platforms
To maintain the structural integrity of our network and understand our market reach, we utilize limited third-party services. These platforms interact only with technical metadata, never your encrypted traffic.
Firebase (Google): We use this for real-time crash diagnostics. If the app fails, Firebase sends a technical stack trace to help our engineers improve stability.
Attribution & Analytics (e.g., Adjust, AppsFlyer): These platforms identify the marketing source of your installation. They process pseudonymized technical identifiers, such as your device’s Advertising ID (IDFA or GAID).
Security Shield: These third parties are contractually prohibited from accessing your VPN tunnel or associating technical IDs with your real-world identity.
Legal Foundation for Data Processing
LineLee VPN processes information based on the following legal pillars:
Contractual Necessity: The local processing of connection data is fundamental to delivering the secure networking service you have engaged.
Legitimate Interests: We have a legitimate interest in using pseudonymized technical data to prevent network abuse, fix critical bugs, and optimize global server performance.
Your Global Data Rights
Regardless of your location, we provide you with the following rights to ensure you remain in control of your digital presence:
Right to Know About Sharing: You have the right to know if your data is shared. LineLee VPN only shares non-identifiable technical metadata with the operational partners listed in Section 2.
Right to Know About Sales: You have the right to know if your data is sold. LineLee VPN does not sell, trade, or monetize your personal information to any third party.
Right of Access: You have the right to request a report on the personal data we hold. Because we do not store personal identifiers or traffic logs, these reports are generally limited to technical interaction metadata.
Right to Rectification: You may request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal data we or our partners possess.
Right to Deletion: You have the "Right to be Forgotten." Uninstalling LineLee VPN immediately removes all local configurations. You may also request the deletion of any technical logs held by our partners.
Right to Lodge a Complaint: You are entitled to contact a regulatory authority or data protection supervisor in your jurisdiction if you believe our data practices violate legal standards.
Retention Lifecycle & Circumstances
Active Traffic Metadata: This data is ephemeral and exists only during your active VPN session. It is purged from the device’s temporary memory the moment you disconnect.
Analytical Logs: Non-identifiable technical telemetry held by third-party partners is retained for the minimum period necessary for aggregate trend analysis (typically 12 to 24 months) before being purged or fully anonymized.
Opt-Out & Non-Sharing Controls
You have the power to restrict even technical data sharing through the following means:
Advertising Opt-Out: You can enable "Limit Ad Tracking" (iOS) or "Opt out of Ads Personalization" (Android) within your system settings to block attribution identifiers.
Permission Management: You can revoke VPN configuration or notification permissions at any time through your device’s app settings.
Data Protection Officer (DPO)
We have appointed a Data Protection Officer to oversee our privacy protocols and serve as your primary point of contact for data inquiries.
DPO Name: Jonathan Thorne
Contact Email: rapidkode@gmail.com
